- The cards must have a ‘bleed’ (extra image) of 3 mm around.
- The top side of the top card is page 1. The backside is then page 2. (even if it remains unprinted!) For the next card, the top side is page 3 and the backside is page 4, etc. etc.
- The hole for the binding screw or click ring has a diameter of 6 mm. The head of the nickel binding screw has a diameter of 10 mm and the head of a plastic binding screw has a diameter of 12 mm. Therefore, do not place any important information here.
- Use a support color to indicate where the hole should be drilled. (circle of 2mm, only on page 1) Set the artwork in this support color to overprint (no knockout!) and give this ‘layer’ the correct name: a drilling hole = Drilling.”
